Assistance Request: Integrating TP-Link DS-P7001-08 OLT with GenieACS and Configuring DHCP

Dear Team,

I am currently working on integrating a TP-Link DS-P7001-08 OLT with the GenieACS server to manage devices via TR-069. Despite my efforts, I have not been successful in establishing a proper connection between the OLT and GenieACS.

Additionally, I have set up a Linux-based DHCP server to assign IP addresses to devices connected through the OLT, utilizing the DHCP relay function. However, the devices are not receiving the expected IP leases.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could provide a detailed step-by-step guide on:

  1. Properly configuring the TP-Link DS-P7001-08 OLT to communicate with GenieACS.
  2. Setting up the DHCP relay on the OLT to function correctly with the Linux DHCP server.

Any documentation, prior experiences, or advice would be immensely helpful.

Looking forward to your guidance.

Best regards,

Rodrigo Godoy

ACS is intended to manage CPE devices (i.e., ONT/ONU) via TR-069, not OLT.

To make an ONT/ONU manageable by an ACS platform, you only need to configure the ACS Server URL and authentication credentials in the ONT.

No need to do any integration between the OLT and the ACS.

Here is an overview of the process:

Personally, I do relay on my gateway instead of the OLT. With pizzabox OLT like TP-Link when you can have to stack multiple OLT on one site, the advantage is that you have only a single relay to configure.

If using TP-Link ONU, XX230v behave just fine to the option 43 for ACS auto discovery. Configure it on your DHCP server and your ONU will connect automatically to GenieACS.
