Hello everyone,
I’m currently facing an issue with my GenieACS setup and would appreciate some assistance in troubleshooting.
Here’s my setup:
I have GenieACS virtualized in VirtualBox.
The GenieACS instance is configured to listen through a RJ45 connection.
This RJ45 connection is connected to a Zyxel OLT1480A via an uplink to port 1.
Additionally, I have a Zyxel PMG5617GA router that I want to send all its information through a WAN configured with a fixed IP address within the range using IPOE (I can’t configure a LAN on this router).
The router is connected via a splitter through a PON connection.
The issue I’m encountering is that I can’t get the router to reach the ACS, and I’m having trouble pinpointing where the problem lies. I’ve verified that GenieACS is working because I tested a small TR069 client script, and it successfully sent connection attempt logs to GenieACS.
I suspect the issue might be with the OLT configuration, but I’m not entirely sure. I’ve checked the router settings, and everything seems to be configured correctly.
Here’s the logs of the router:

If anyone has experience with similar setups or has any troubleshooting tips or suggestions on how I can diagnose and resolve this connectivity issue, I would greatly appreciate your help.
By the way, I don’t know if the router should be seen with the acs, through the uplinks since the fiber connection and the OLT are in between, I understand that they should all be in the same range but they don’t ping each other, even if there is a fiber connection instead of rj45 and an uplink instead of an rj45 should they ping? (If someone could answer this question too…)
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
Best regards,
