Hi guys, sorry for asking for help, I’m a complete beginner with Genie ACS. I’m trying to connect a Huawei ONT from a remote network that isn’t mine. I set up port forwarding on my Mikrotik router with a public IP address, which connects via LAN to the Genie ACS server. On the ONT, I entered the Mikrotik’s public IP address plus the external port I assigned. The ONT reports to the server without problems, but I get a ping error because it’s trying to ping the ONT’s local IP address. Because of this, I can’t modify anything on the ONT; it keeps showing an error message saying the ONT is offline and can’t be pinged, even though the ONT is visible. It might be something stupid, but if anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know. Thanks, guys.
