Devices supported database

New to genieacs

All installed all systemd services start as expected.
Can log into geneiacs gui fine.
I have an Arcadyan KVD21 T-MO gateway connected to this host machine. and is pingable
SHould any device that is supported , be ‘autodiscovered’ ?
I do not see any place in the configs to actually manually enter a device by ip address?
Couldnt find any documentation after getting installed to see what should be a setup for a device.
Am sure I am missing something.

TIA , Barry

You should probably become familiar with how TR-069 works under the hood.

@akcoder

Thank You for the links to read up on.
I had seen where the first gen T-MO 5G gateways 'Trash Can" Nokia, in th product spec sheet did mention these units are TR-069 equipped, but never could find anything on the Arcadyan, second gen units having this,but would think they surely have to have some sort of management like this built in,unless there is newer generation spin of it.
Ill keep reading up,

It’s possible the TR69 configuration section for your CPE is hid away under a different GUI login.

@dustin

All that shows up on the web interface for the Arcadyan KVD21 Gateway are
the ‘bars’ signal strength ,firmware version, UI version ,serial number and uptime. that’s it
Probably SOL on activating any TR-069 goodness on this unit…

Thanks

Are there different login levels - user / admin / root?

@dustin

no… T-MO dont want anyone messin with the CPE’s,which is understandable.

there is an app , in Github called HINT control,shows quite a bit of info for the Arcadyn KVD21

I saw some videos on youtube where you can get stats from the device and change WiFi settings but you are correct, the GUI is locked down for the end-user.

Most likely the device supports TR69 and it has been pre-configured for your provider.
