How to implement this in genie? is it possible ?
What are you trying to actually accomplish?
D-link has this function of checking for the latest updates from the site fwupdate.dlink.ru and how to transfer it to the router in provision so that it checks for updates and applies them. Otherwise, writing separate conditions for each of their models and revisions is too long
How does this apply to using an ACS? Are you wanting to have the ACS push a configuration/setting to the router to tell it to go look for a firmware update?
That’s right, I asked on the d-link forum, they said that auto-update from the site with firmware “http://fwupdate.dlink.ru” is possible, but they will not tell you exactly how to do this not for Dlink ACS. And they sent me the syntax for such an update, such as the TR-069 standard
