I am using a VSOL EPON OLT with some third-party Huawei ONUs
(HG8145C, 346M, 546M series) and trying to remotely push TR-069/WAN
configuration to them (for bulk customer onboarding).
What i’ve tried:
onu ctc fast_leave — works
onu pri tr069_mng — Time Out
onu ctc mgmt ip — VarNoResource
profile srv + tr069_mng bind — accepted in config, but never actually applied to the ONU
VSOL’s own support team confirmed:
"TR-069 configuration parameters on Huawei ONUs rely on proprietary
OMCI messages. VSOL OLT cannot configure Huawei ONU via private OMCI."
Questions:
1. Has anyone successfully pushed TR-069 to a Huawei ONU on a VSOL EPON OLT? How?
2. Has anyone tried DHCP Option 43 (ONU-side auto-discovery) with this exact combination?
3. Is switching to a Huawei GPON OLT (instead of VSOL) the real fix here?
- Currently i have tested wifi user name, password change , wifi on off and device reboot
Is another parameters that we can do other than these
