how to add a virtual parameter on the equipment page?

am i doing something wrong? because when I put it there and nothing appears.

Virtual Parameters — GenieACS Documentation 1.2.9 documentation.

Just like a regular parameter, creating a virtual parameter does not automatically add it to the parameter list for a device. It needs to fetched (manually or via a preset) before you can see it in the data model.

But I didn’t find in the documentation an example of calling this parameter somehow…
can you tell me how this is done exactly?

Can you provide screenshots of the virtual parameter that you created and which Tab you are referring to when you said - “equipment page”?

I wanted to add a button like this one to change the device password

Add the param to the device page and if the param is editable, the button will automatically show up.
