I have installed a server of genieacs1.2.13 version. However, I have encountered a situation recently. After the optical network terminal (ONT) device was first registered on the genieacs server, the CPE authentication account and password on the Web end of the ONT device were forcibly changed. Why is this happening? I would be very grateful if someone could explain it to me!
The default inform script sets the connection request username/password to be unique amongst all of your devices.
To change this behavior, you need to edit the inform script and remove/comment out those lines.
Dear akcoder, first of all, I’m very grateful for your reply. However, I think you might have misunderstood the meaning. My ACS authentication account/password is cwmp/cwmp, and my CPE authentication account/password is cwmpd/cwmpd. After the optical network terminal (ONU) device was registered to the genieacs server, the account and password for CPE authentication were forcibly changed. For instance, the account was changed to 00E04C-GPONAC1200-000000000002, and the password was changed to I9rqtziskd.
What I want to ask is, why is this so and what modifications do I need to make to avoid it? Thank you again for your reply!
Let me add that here, the CPE changes the Web page of the device, not the config Settings deployed in the genieacs server.
I deleted the inform configuration of admin-provisions. As a result, it will no longer be forcibly modified, and the WAN connection of DUT can also be configured, restarted or reset. Why?
I can assure you, I did not misunderstand. I told you what was going on, and how to resolve it if its an issue in your environment.
