Secure ONTs from being stolen and reused on another ISP

Hi, is there any mechanism to secure an ONT registers with an specific GenieACS platform that belongs to the ISP owner of the equipment, and avoid being stolen and re used on another region ? some sort of locking. I’m afraid a factory reset would overcome this but asking just in case.

I’ve not seen any sort of mechanism to support this behavior.
