GenieACS 1.2.6 released

I’m happy to announce a new maintenance release of GenieACS. This v1.2.6 release is a beefy update containing a large number of fixes and stability improvements. Here are some of the noteworthy changes:

  • New config option cwmp.downloadSuccessOnTimeout to enable a workaround for CPEs that neglect to send a TransferComplete message after a successful download.
  • Display a progress bar when uploading new files.
  • Default to dual stack interface binding (i.e. :: instead of 0.0.0.0 ). Unless the binding interface is explicitly set, this will cause IPv4 addresses in the logs to be displayed as IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses (e.g. ::ffff:127.0.0.1 instead of 127.0.0.1 ).
  • Detect and correct for client side (browser) clock skew that would otherwise alter the numbers in the pie charts.

I have installed it already on a test server and had troubles with connection requests from the ui to the cpe’s (AVM FRITZ!Box and Zyxel DX3301). I had not had the chance to test it over the nbi.
I have to do further testing to find the root of the issue.

hello i got errors of “Invalid session” on cwmp log, and “Internal Server Error” on web UI, after upgrade

i recover doing install a previous 1.2.5 build and it was working again.
