# Why do I have to give a "getParameterValues" to be able to display the password value on the device page?

Why do I have to give a “getParameterValues” to be able to display the password value on the device page?  
not give to display directly without having to give this request in the api?

Alguns Fabricantes colocam o retorno do valor em BLANK por motivo de segurança para a informação não ficar visível, mas você pode alterá-la e as vezes depois de alterar ela fica visível, você pode criar um parâmetro virtual para que em determinado tempo ele fique atualizando aquele determinado valor.
