When I summon a specific CPE (IPAccess 3g access point), the response has a malformed HTTP header. The date does not contain the key, it just has a date (not preceded with ‘Date:’). This causes GenieACS to reject the response. I don’t think the date header is required, so is there a way to have GenieACS ignore the error? It’s unlikely I will be able to get an update to the radio.

The problem is the header is fundamentally broken. You need to put a proxy in front of that to fix the header.

You don’t specify if this is when the ACS is connecting to the `ConnectionRequestUrl` of the CPE, or when the CPE is POSTing to the ACS.

If the Issue is CPE → ACS, then I would use HAProxy with `option accept-invalid-http-request`.

If the issue is ACS → CPE, you may still be able to use HAProxy, thats outside of my wheel house.

When you ask the ACS to summon the CPE, it does a HTTP GET to the CPE, the response to the GET is malformed. It’s a case where the client/server roles have been reversed, the ACS has become the client and the CPE the server. I don’t know if a reverse proxy can be configured to handle this situation.
