# genieACS can't write to the database?

Hello  
today my first genieacs installation at Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS, and it seams that genieACS can’t write to the database. defining a new Role at the web gui will be acknowledged with “Configuration has been modified…” but e.g a new role will not be stored
