Hi,

I created script based environment that schedules FW upgrade action.

I tried it first on one test device and although it fired Tr-069 Download (FW file) action I got very soon an error from the device (in the attachment). Then I tried to execute the same action manually (by using Push File button from the GenieACS GUI) and I got the same result.

I don’t get it since I was able to upgrade FW on this type of device from the GenieACS GUI.

Here is also log from the file genieacs-cwmp-access.log: tail -f genieacs-cwmp-access.log | grep 100.100.1.146

Can you help me please in understanding what is the reason for this type of issue?

Did you check the basics:

- Can you download the firmware in your browser, using the URL?
- Can you download the firmware and manually upgrade a device, using your browser, to ensure that the uploaded file is not corrupted?

It works when I upgrade device locally. I have 3 different FW versions and I tried each of them.

I decided to delete existing FW versions on the ACS and to add them again. After that everything works correctly: 2026-07-01T09:53:07.474Z [INFO] ::ffff:100.100.1.146 503256-R281A-R2911251113001556: Inform; cpeRequestId=“1234” informEvent=“6 CONNECTION REQUEST” informRetryCount=0

It’s possible the previously uploaded file was corrupted.

No it worked properly, these are the same FW files I am working now after I deleted them from GenieACS and added them again, but I think that I know what happened. While creating that script based environment for mass FW upgrades I did some operations on DB part that takes care of FW image files. And those operations caused these issues

Understood. Glad you figured it out and got it working.
