# faultCode: "9002" faultString: Internal error

how to find this fault cause?

Look at the logs on the CPE. If you are lucky it will be in the logs. Otherwise, you will probably need to either experiment with setting the params one at a time until you find the cause. Another option is connecting to the [4 pin serial](https://forum.genieacs.com/t/upload-speedtest-moving-back-to-none/4340/7) and looking at the serial console output. I’ve found this contains much more info then the logs on devices.
