# Connection request via API no longer works on latest commit

Hi,  
I’ve seen a fix in commit a0ad6ec that might relate to some crashes I’ve experienced in the NBI process from time to time and I’ve tried to use the latest code in the master branch but using it I’m no longer able to summon the device via API.  
A getParameterValues request via API with connection\_request gets a 202 Accepted answer but I see no attempt to initiate the connection request mechanism on the device.  
There have been some changes since 1.2.9 regarding this in the API that i’ve missed ?
