# Building on top of ACS for TR069 comms

Hello everybody, I am new to this network and telecom side of businesses but I need to built a system that can get data from genieACS + mongo, but I have no idea where to start.

I have tried to use a docker image from genie acs, but I couldn’t perform any action.

Someone told me that I need the CPE profile in order to manage it or perform actions, and I want to test the system with real CPE but I don’t know how.

Can someone please shed a light on the path?
